riverwalk

Today Charlie and I took the boys to the Riverwalk for a sweaty stroll along the river. We took a look at a lot of the frog statues and dragonfly benches and watched divers and kids on the slide at Centennial Beach. Surprisingly, as we looked on it really wasn't crowded and we thought about maybe taking the boys there for the day once before the summer ends. But the best part of the day was when we took the boys on the paddle boats! Charlie and I (mostly Charlie) pedaled and the boys helped steer. Both Carter and Logan loved the fact that the ducks would paddle right along side us or follow close behind. Eventually they were even brave enough (the boys, not the ducks!) to sit at the back of the boat all by themselves (OK, Logan was held onto tightly by his paranoid mother or more laid back father and only stayed back there for a short time while we were not paddling!).
