life with ava

The boys are great with Ava! Carter thinks she's the prettiest thing and just so cute when she's sleeping. Logan's always asking "where's the baby?" when she's sleeping and "is she ready to eat?" and adores helping me change her and showing her how he does things like walking, putting on his own pjs, making silly faces. He wants to teach her everything since he's bigger than her ("me bigger now"). We've had plenty of whining from Logan and a couple blow ups from Carter, don't get me wrong, but I think as this week goes on and things get more normal with visitors, Charlie going back to work and a normal meal and napping routine going on they'll do better. It's been easy to adjust to Ava and her eating and sleeping patterns - she's a dream! It's been harder to be gone for a few days at the hospital and try to fit back into the life of being home with Carter and Logan. Thank goodness for all Natalie has done for us this past week, Charlie being home, and the nice weather we've had so the boys could get outside and play with their friends.
