Tomorrow you get an amazing kid. Someone who is silly and crazy and loud and full of energy. Someone who already knows so much and is incredibly smart and curious and is always asking questions. Someone who remembers everything he experiences, sees and hears. You get Carter. All day long. Promise me you'll be good to him. Enjoy his big bright eyes when he discovers something he's never seen. Love how he easily he makes new friends and leads and includes everyone. Treasure the stories he shares about things he's done. Appreciate the smile and big laugh that sounds just like his daddy's. Let him make mistakes and learn from them. He's asleep right now and he requested to be sprinkled with Jitter Glitter. Keep him happy and safe and love him and teach him lots, Kindergarten. He's ready. He's excited. He's my first to go and I think this is just as big a day for me as it is for him.
Sincerely,
Carter's Mom
