Logan broke his collar bone Sunday night. He's in a sling for awhile - at least three weeks. He climbed into the neighbor's playhouse through the window and landed funny. Charlie took him to the ER around 7 and they got home at 11:30 that night. I didn't sleep a wink. It's got to heal on it's own and he's hangin' in there. We'll have the pediatrician take a look on Wednesday and don't think we need an orthopedic appointment. He hasn't had too much pain today which is good and he's able to sleep comfortably. He's actually wanting to play, but we watched Chipmunks and sat and played Sorry Sliders, laying low today. Of course we had to have a talk with Carter about no hugs, tackles or rough housing for awhile. It'll be hard to limit Logan's activity when Carter's outside doing all the same old stuff. He's such a sweet big brother though - when Auntie Natalie took him to pick up some groceries for me he picked out a card, flowers and balloon to cheer Logan up (thanks natalie!). He's sharing his button-down jammies and he's been really understanding and helpful. So, as the summer winds down and school gets closer, I think so will our busy adventures so that Logie's collarbone heals. You know what, the summer before Carter turned three he got hurt at that same neighbor's house and needed five stitches - Logan had been home for just a couple days. I've decided Ava's not allowed there the summer she turns three!
